Overview

What is OfferEval?

OfferEval is a free AI agent that pressure-tests a company and offer using public signals before you sign. Enter a company name, plus an offer letter or JD if you have them, and it scores company risk across five lenses with cited red flags, green flags, and unknowns. The model weights risk by seniority, so the same company can look very different to an early IC than to an executive.

OfferEval uses public information and the documents you provide; it can't see private internal data or guarantee completeness. Treat it as one input into your decision — not legal, tax, or financial advice — and bring anything material to your own advisors.

Frequently asked

Common questions

Is OfferEval free?

Yes. OfferEval runs all five risk lenses on any company, and you can optionally paste an offer letter and JD to factor those into the analysis.

What data sources does it use?

Public news, SEC filings, funding databases, layoffs.fyi, WARN notices, Glassdoor, Indeed, Reddit, Blind, court filings, and the company's own site. Every claim links to its source.

How is this different from Glassdoor?

Glassdoor is one input among many. OfferEval combines sentiment with financial signals, exec turnover, lawsuits, layoffs, and offer terms — and weights everything for your seniority level.

Do you store my offer letter?

No. Files are parsed in your browser and held only in session storage. Nothing is sent to a server for persistence.

Who is OfferEval for?

Anyone considering a job offer — early ICs through executives. The same company can be a strong fit for one level and a poor fit for another, and the report reflects that.

How long does a check take?

Roughly one to three minutes. The agent streams findings live as it searches, so you see tool calls and citations land in real time.

What are OfferEval's limits?

It uses public information and the documents you provide — it can't see private internal data or guarantee completeness. Treat it as one input into your decision, not legal, tax, or financial advice, and bring anything material to your own advisors.
